Shop better, shop small!
Happily, our Little Wishlisters seem to agree - we’ve seen a huge increase recently in the number of items that have been added to wishlists from small businesses and 72% of our social media followers recently told us they prefer shopping small to shopping on the high street.
There will always be a place for the likes of Amazon, Argos and John Lewis (who hasn’t had a last-minute panic and thanked their lucky stars for Prime next day delivery!), but you can pick up some really lovely and unique items when you shop from an independent. And because independent businesses are often run by individuals with a real passion for what they do, you benefit from a really personal customer experience as well – it’s a win win! Here at Little Wishlist HQ we love the fact that we can support independent businesses by providing a platform on which parents can share lovely things they find online. We think one of the best things about Little Wishlist is that you can create a list that is totally personal to you. Whether you add links from big retailer or a small brand you’ve found, local baby classes or even a second-hand item, you can add whatever you want to your list and it’s totally free. And by adding items from a small business to your wishlist, you are literally contributing to the realisation of someone’s dream!
Super mum, Samantha Hope, shared her wishlist wisdom with us recently with her top baby products from small independent brands – check it out here.
